Illinois community colleges are required by law to charge a higher tuition rate when students are not legal residents of the district that support the College with tax monies. Many factors are involved in determining residency; just living within the district does not itself constitute residency. By completing this form, you are providing the information used to determine your residency status and subsequent tuition rate. A minimum of 30 days district residency, defined as occupying a dwelling, prior to the start of the term is required for consideration of in-district residency status.
*Permanent Resident – lawful permanent residents who hold a green card and are authorized to live permanently within the United States. **Individuals that are not a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States are charged foreign rates unless an affidavit is signed stating the individual will file an application to become a permanent resident of the United States at the earliest opportunity they are eligible to do so.
A special link to resume the form will be sent to your email address.
